Photo organizing and editing software--Creative Memories Memory Manager is absolutely the
most feature packed and easy to use software under $40!  Take the virtual tour and see all
that you can do.  (My favorite features are that it reminds you to backup your photos/video and
you can view which pictures have and haven't been printed yet.)

Looking for a new camera?  Here are some links to my favorite researching sites--Digital
Photography Review--This site will give you tons of info on all the cameras available and help
make your decision making easier.   You can also use the Buying Guide to compare cameras
and search by features you want.  Another helpful resource is Let's Go Digital for info and
buying help with price searches.  Better Photo has a fun quiz to help determine what camera
would be best for your style.  Also, they have great user reviews on not only cameras but
    accessories, too.

Telling the story behind your photos--Journaling ideas--Creative Memories--The story behind
your photo is as important as the image itself!  Instead of explaining your pictures as you go
through your album with someone, write it down.  This is the legacy you leave behind, and your
voice will be heard for generations.

Picture It Done!

As a Mom, I like having one less thing to worry about.
Now I never worry about losing my digital photos ever again!

Do you fear a hard drive crash?  Or a virus?  Or a power surge?  I
found a great service that automatically backs up my computer so I
can rest easy.  I tried to faithfully back up my pictures to CD, but I was
always behind and I would fear some disaster would befall my files.
I know a few people who actually lost years' worth of photos.  The
chance of a hard drive failure is much higher than the horrors of
    flood, fire and natural disasters.

Do you remember when personal computers first came out?  With 5
1/4" floppy disks?  How about the 3 1/2" disks?  Now CD's are being
replaced with higher capacity DVD's.  And double layer DVD's.
What's next?  Writeable BlueRay's?  The newest technology will be
replaced long before we can pass them down to our grandkids
whose computers probably wouldn't be able to read them anyway.  In
addition, a scratch on a CD/DVD makes all the data unreadable
unlike old music records where you could just go to the next song.

Carbonite charges $49.95 per year and I feel it's worth every penny.

info.  You'll be glad you did.  They have many great reviews and even
    a free 30 day trial.
